If you are interested in starting a Community Supported Fishery program in your own community, consider joining the network. Here are some of the benefits you’ll receive by teaming up with .

For qualifying Community Supported Fishery programs. will:

• Provide Non-profit tax status, Business Licensing, and Product Liability Insurance.
• Assist with business planning, marketing advice, and access to legal research.
• Assist with start-up costs, for example scales and labels.
• Assist in start-up funding for a coordinator of your CSF, if necessary.
• Increase CSF marketing opportunities through sales of seafood subscriptions across the network.
• Provide a monthly newsletter, Docklines, which is distributed to all Seafood Subscribers. Docklines contains information about the health benefits of seafood, recipes, fishermen profiles, member-CSF features, and current fishing issues.
• Supply you with your own web space on the website, as well as the Alaska Sustainable Fisheries Trust website.
• Provide you with licensed use of the reputable and established brand name.
